About that time Patty the parrot saw Larry coming. “Oh no, I must hide! But where?” she said frantically. But Patty couldn't hide because her bright green and yellow feathers gave her away. “There you are you squawking, pea-brained bird, you,” shouted Larry. “Come down this instant and play with me, you stupid bird.” Rocky the roach lifted his head up and gave Larry a disgusted stare. Then he crawled back inside his tree stump so he couldn't hear any more of Larry's insults.
